I have been reading a book about getting and staying organized. Taking a suggestion from the book I bought a clear plastic over-the-door shoe holder and was able to turn it into a place to put things that have no place of their own at my house. Like toys my nieces or nephews may leave here, DVD’s that need returning, outgoing mail, etc.
I went through the kids’ clothes, as well as my own, and was able to fill five boxes to donate to the Children’s Home Society. It felt so good to lighten up that load.
I finally got around to hanging the lovely expressions I ordered from my sister-in-law’s Uppercase Living party several months ago. In doing so I was also able to get all of our family pictures displayed.
Amidst the organization, the laptop decided to poop out on us. It took a while to get that going, and there are still some things that need to be set up. I was able to get my desk nook cleaned and organized. Even the drawers!

You've inspired me! I so need to get organized.
Wow! You did have a VERY productive week. Where do you get the energy to do it all? You put me to shame girl!
Busy girl! Love your dog pic!
Aw man, I feel like a jealous, disorganized mess. Maybe I should subscribe to some organizational magazines?
This is the book I got for Christmas (I guess Santa was trying to tell me something.) It’s a little too much for me to do everyday, but has a lot of good ideas.
